The candidate will support User Facing Services (UFS) Change Request process by utilizing project tracking and reporting processes. The candidate will also provide support to UFS IT hardware/software baseline provisioning and sustainment processes and provide project management and IT project cost estimating support. The UFS Project Management/Cost Estimating Specialist will perform such tasks which include, but are not limited to the following:
•Coordinate with government personnel, customers and
implementation contractors and other interested
parties in the implementation of CRQs or other IT
•Assist customers in defining and documenting their
UFS IT requirements.
•Assist in developing IGCEs for IT hardware projects.
•Conduct market research on options costs of user
facing IT hardware projects.
•Develop PWSs for UFS IT hardware projects.
•Review contractor proposals for IT hardware
•Monitor project implementation and assist in
resolving any technical, schedule, or other issues.
•Maintain project status in BMC Remedy or other
•Support oversight of UFS architecture and hardware
to identify system interface or sustainment risks.
•Maintain the UFS Cost-estimating tool for use by
other UFS personnel in the development ofCRQ project
B.S. or B.A. degree or related experience in a business or IT field.
Demonstrated specialized UFS project related cost estimation experience.
Demonstrated specialized project management experience.
Systems Engineering or IT certifications.
Specialized experience with BMC Remedy IT Service Management.
Specialized experience with agency specific IT architecture and IT standards.
Demonstrated understanding of experience with DoD or IC acquisition process
